We booked into the Four Winds after a long day of traveling with the kids. The missus at the front desk was very friendly, helpful and seemed to be able to answer the kids 350 questions. Room on the third was large and clean with individual heat and air conditioning unit. For less than half of what we paid in Oshawa the night before, the room was better and parking was 5 folds better. Will definitely stay here again.
Totally unexpected experience from such a small town. I felt like I was in a big city. Beautiful large room, extremely clean and quiet. Very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. A nice welcome at check in from Francine. Wonderful but simple breakfast. Lots of parking. Would come here again.
Long Lac is not very big and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the Four Winds Hotel! Rooms are large and with the exception of no in room coffee maker or microwave, everything else was of top quality. Coffee, juice and muffins etc were available in the morning. Being on the 3rd floor, we appreciated the elevator. They have a surveillance system and a 24 hour desk so we felt safe in leaving our bikes on the back of our vehicle. However be aware that if you arrive in Long Lac on a Sunday night you better have something with you to eat!! We were disappointed that the Pizzaria was closed since on its website it said it was open. There is nothing else so hungry people beware!! As for the hotel, we would definitely stay here again.
polite and helpful. The room was neat and clean. The breakfast was also fantastic. So, if anybody wants to stay then I would recommend this motel to everyone.
I went for a solo trip to Thunder Bay. Started snowing, got into this motel. Very good place to crash the night. The reception was very friendly. Breakfast was quick and pretty decent.
King room, had the most easy to use and heating/ac unit in any hotel I have used. It was a great continental breakfast and everything was very clean. No bad comments about this motel. Check in was easy, staff polite and informative
Loved my entire experience. Bed was comfy in room 202 and the room was large with a table and couch, fridge. Heat was easy to use ans windows have 3 layers. TY
Had to change our plans on route to the destination and we found this hidden gem. The beds were comfortable, rooms clean and staff was very friendly! Not to mention the breakfast options were good and coffee even better. Definitely recommend checking this place out as an option right off the highway.
Nice clean room. Firm mattress if that's what you're looking for in a bed. There is a continental breakfast available. You have to take the food to your room until the dining room opens post Covid19. I had an excellent stay at the Four Winds. In all honesty I would have given a dumpster 5 stars with how exhausted I was last night.

Large clean room, comfy beds, small table with 2 chairs, desk with chair and fridge. 50” tv on dresser - bathroom clean with everything you need. Definitely would recommend this hotel
Great little motel. Rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Nice comfy king bed with more than enough pillows and a nice sized TV. Air conditioner unit worked fabulously! Reasonable price for the quality of the room. Will stay again
After a long drive it is always a pleasure to stay here. The rooms are great and always clean. Super comfortable beds. Staff is always a pleasure to deal with. Rates are very reasonable. Can't say enough about it. Just awesome. I stay in alot of hotels for my work and wish they were all like this one. If your travelling threw here definitely stay at the 4 winds. You won't be disappointed I promise.
